relationship between body mass index (BMI) & physical activity with cyphhosis in physiotherapy students at the faculty of medicine, Udayana University

Introduction: Kyphosis is generally defined as a disease that occurs in the area of vertebrae or human spine which causes hunched posture. As for some musculoskeletal complaints caused by kyphosis, including changes body posture bends forward so it affects appearance, pain felt spinal area, muscles get tired easily, and tightness back most severe conditions kyphosis can cause problems respiratory tract other organs. The several factors, namely mass index, workload, scheurman,and birth defects. This study aims to determine whether there relationship between Body Mass Index Physical Activity with Incidence Physiotherapy Students at Faculty Medicine, Udayana University. Method: research type descriptive analytic approach cross-sectional, using total sampling technique, number subjects was 64 physiotherapy students who met exclusion inclusion criteria. Data taken measuring index BMI formula, global physical activity questionnaire (GPAQ) measure activity, flexicurve degree kyphosis.
